Title: Digital Peer Support Skills Workshop

Peers turn to friends in difficult times and the mode of interaction is often through text.
This course equips peers with a general understanding of trauma and trauma-informed care principles and the appropriate support to offer to a friend going through a tough time.
This course is designed to achieve the following learning objectives:
1. To gain a shared understanding of trauma and how it relates to mental health
2. To learn about the principles of trauma-informed care
3. To integrate principles of care and offer appropriate text-based support to distressed peers
This workshop is held by Acceset.
Acceset is a digital health social enterprise that specializes in mental health related services, which include workshops on trauma-informed care and digital peer support skills, digital platform to facilitate anonymous text-based emotion support, and data analysis to facilitate mental health research.
