Modern baked goods usually contain chemical dough improvers and softeners, commercial yeast and artificial colouring.
In Slow Bakes, we adopt the Slow Bake method by striving to return to the artisan way of baking using slow fermentation. Our breads are typically made with only four basic ingredients (flour, water, salt, and leaven), while our pastries are handmade with only quality and natural ingredients.
The result is products that are wholesome, healthy and delicious.
Together, we hope to spread the message on eating and living well to all who come to the HYC. By shaping the perceptions of young people today, we can build a sustainable future that appreciates real and good food.
